Once again Jayce woke up early in the morning crying in terror. What is wrong? He's been fed, diaper changed, he's bundled up in a swaddle, and he's not sick or is he? I was thinking he might have stomachache, so I burped him. He quiet down for a little while, but then he cried again! So, I moved him from his bed and walked to the other room. Also, Jack has to go to work today and I don't want to wake him up. I didn't know what to do half asleep, so I just feed him again. He took it and fell asleep. I didn't remember how long after I put him back to sleep in his bed, since everything is a little blurred to me! I didn't get enough sleep at that time. I went back to sleep and thank God Jayce was also asleep until noon. I think I got about 3-4 hrs asleep combined.
Oh, when I was about to change his diaper...I saw his umbilical cord fell off! Now, you can see his cute belly button! I found out the cord stump was inside his diaper, didn't know how it ended up there? I took a video of it and thinking if I should flush it down the toilet or just threw it in the thrash?! Mmm, I couldn't believe it that my mom actually saved my cord wrapped in a newspaper and showed it to me when I was I think Junior high? I definitely won't save it and carry it around, since we will be moving around a lot, but I'll take a pic and videotape it!
